THE CHALLENGE
We found out that even with the great opportunities that fractional investment had, not everyone knew how it worked, or had little to no knowledge about it. This left a large gap.
THE PROCESS
Collaborating closely with the marketing team on user research, we discovered that potential users:
Needed more real estate investment information.
Aspired to financial freedom through real estate.
Were unfamiliar with fractional investing.
Our recommendation: Develop an informative, educational website that highlights Jointly's value proposition.
THE OPPORTUNITY
To address a gap, we leveraged Jointly's potential to provide an alternative real estate investment approach by creating an onboarding-focused website that educates users on fractional investment and drives sign-ups, ensuring alignment between user needs and our business objectives for its success.
The Design
Guiding information architecture, user flow, and mood board creation, I ensured our user interface designs perfectly aligned with the project's objectives.
Final Design
Hero section
To boost sign-ups, we recognized the hero section must feature a compelling value proposition and a strong call to action.
How it works section
Utilizing a video format, we visually explained Jointly's core concept and simplified the onboarding process, maintaining brevity and clarity.
FAQ Section
We leveraged survey insights to proactively design an empathetic FAQ section, anticipating and addressing users' common questions.
Why Jointly
With so much information it was only right to give them enough reasons why signing up on Jointly or choosing jointly was the right step to take. To also reduce their decision-making time, we positioned a CTA so that they could take quick action.
Unique Challenges
The main challenges in this project revolved around enhancing messaging and maintaining user engagement to ensure return visits. To address these challenges, we are actively exploring solutions, such as introducing a course page and a vlog page to educate users about Jointly and real estate.
Achievement
Despite the challenges, I achieved significant milestones during this project. I played a key role in the website's development, implementing top-tier user experience practices for enhanced user-friendliness and responsiveness. My design efforts resulted in Jointly accumulating over 1,000 sign-ups within the first few months, with a substantial number of them proceeding to invest.
Final thoughts
This project has been an enlightening experience, expanding my skill set into web development, and enhancing my abilities in team collaboration and leadership.
